       据报道,我国大陆的合约半导体生产商中芯国际集成电路制造有限公司(SMIC)已经挤掉新加坡特许半导体制造公司,在2005年成为世界第三大硅芯片供应商。

       SMIC去年的市场份额为6.4%,销售额11.7亿美元,年增20.1%,超过了特许半导体的6.2%、11.3亿美元、2.6%。

       在SMIC之前位列第一和第二的分别是我国台湾的TSMC(台积电)和UMC(联电)。2005年TSMC的份额高达44.8%,销售额82.2亿美元,年增7.2%;UMC份额为15.4%,销售额28.2亿美元,下降19.3%。排名第五的是IBM生产部门,份额4.5%,销售额8.23亿美元,年增2.1%。

       TRW历史

       TRW 具有悠久的历史,不断创新是企业最突出的一个传统。1927年,查尔斯?林白(Charles Lindbergh)驾单机完成跨历史性的跨大西洋飞越时,他所驾驶飞机上的发动机核心部件,18个发动机气门,正是TRW前身企业生产的。TRW提供的部件,也用于1970年美国阿波罗13号太空船的传奇返航之旅上。TRW的工程师们是世界上首先提出混合动力车概念的人。TRW贡献了世界第一个电子控制的ABS系统,第一个Collette式制动卡钳,第一个两片式发动机气门,第一个正面碰撞安全气囊和传感系统,等等。

       TRW的前身企业崛起于美国汽车工业的起步阶段。从那时起,凭借领先的技术,开发多样产品,为客户提供超值服务,企业得以兴旺。世界上最早的双件发动机气门,就采用了TRW早期产品中的紧固和旋扭技术。得益于此的还有福特T型轿车上配的木制车轮,和欧洲开发的许多照明、电器产品。在此基础上,企业的汽车配件业务迅速发展,于1928年,1932年分别进入北美和欧洲的汽车制动市场,并在二战和韩战前后陆续兼并一批为美国政府提供军备的厂商。企业对于技术更新也从不懈怠,开发了液压制动、电动制动、发动机气门技术等等。
